Rachel Kelley

Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy

After graduating from St. Lawrence University with a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies, Rachel spent six years working as an outdoor educator and wilderness leader for Outward Bound and the Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, California. She really enjoyed teaching students of all ages about the natural environment and how their actions impact the environment. While at MIIS, she focused her studies on sustainability and climate change adaptation. She believes that to mitigate the effects of climate change and to meet international emissions reductions targets, businesses and citizens of the United States will need to develop sustainable lifestyles to reduce their impacts on the environment. Upon graduation, she is interested in working for a school or business as a Sustainability Coordinator.
