Intercultural Communication Institute
March 8, 2016 (Portland, OR)
Working at the Intercultural Communication Institute has been a perfect way to combine the knowledge I have gained through my coursework in the International Education Management program with real world experience interning at a renowned non-profit in my home state of Oregon. I have been able to spearhead projects relating to email marketing, program promotion (like the deliverable below), risk and crisis management, program orientation, data analysis, and program survey design. In developing and implementing these projects, I have been able to utilize coursework and class resources from a number of my graduate classes. It is invaluable to have the opportunity to implement concepts learned in the classroom in a real-world professional environment.
