At the International Rescue Committee in Sacramento, I worked across all areas of volunteers & donations coordination, as well as, running the US Ties project to assist the Economic Empowerment department. My work was both rewarding and exhausting. I worked closely with my supervisor, the Volunteer & Donations Coordinator, to onboard incoming volunteers and interns to the organization. With over 150 volunteers & interns at the IRC in Sacramento, this role is fundamental to the success of the office.
