All students going abroad must have medical and accident insurance as well as medevac (medical evacuation) and repatriation insurance that covers them while abroad either through the MIIS insurance (Provider: Wells Fargo) or another provider. Students not on the MIIS insurance plan still have security evacuation coverage with the Middlebury Global Rescue, just not the medevac.The MIIS student health insurance plan through Wells Fargo includes medical evacuation, global emergency assistance, and repatriation insurance through On Call International. Visit page 14 of the policy brochure or call 1.877.318.6901 for more information.   If you are not on the MIIS health insurance plan, you should secure medical evacuation insurance through a separate provider such as iNext or World Nomads to name a few options.
