I was born in Poland, and my parents moved us to San Francisco when I was 7. In pursuit of a second career in policy, I quit my job in patient support and hospital site coordination to start an MPA. I have the good fortune to live in Europe a third time in order to complete an internship as part of my degree. This allows me the opportunity to find a balance between my European and American identity as I juggle a governmental role.
