Saint Mary’s hosts the Science and Society Seminar for students from Osaka University during the month of September. In this program, students develop their English proficiency while exploring various fields in the sciences. They have opportunities to learn about United States culture as well as share Japanese culture with Saint Mary’s students. I helped coordinate this program and had a great time getting to know the students from Osaka!
Berkeley Day
I coordinated a trip to UC Berkeley, in which students visited the International House, toured the instructional labs of UC Berkeley’s Physics Department, and attended a lecture on inorganic chemistry. Here are a few photos from our day!
