This presentation introduces core principles and effective ways in using technologies, which aims at promoting students’ learning efficiency and creating more “green” environment in language teaching technologies. The notion of “green” in this paper relates to its pedagogical drive behind the technology design. Our stance promotes necessary adoption of green technology in the language classroom to avoid pitfalls and downsides that technology brings to teaching as well as learning.
