This chart shows the structure of the educational system in Luxembourg, the various schooling tracks, and the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) levels.

Several things to note from the educational structure:

• a strict tracking system beginning in lower secondary school
• the strong presence of vocational schooling
• the lack of horizontal movement from one track to another
• the two-year learning cycles in primary education were implemented as a provision of the 2009 Education Act
