META Lab Alumni

Each META Lab alumnus has a unique skill set, which can include data collection, management, analysis, and visualization.  During their time as Graduate Assistants, these alumni use software such as R, SPSS, Open Refine, Pajek, Arcmap, Excel VBA, and Tableau.

About us

We are the META Lab (Mixed-Methods, Evaluation, Training, and Analysis Lab) where we analyze current policy issues with hard data. As a student-led research center at MIIS, we aim to increase students’ capacity to conduct hard data analysis through peer tutoring, class and client projects.

This site is a dedicated creative space for everything related to all things fun with data analysis, tips and tricks of the trade.
