This Spring I learned a great deal about Translation Management Systems (TMS), which are the backbone of the Localization Project Management industry. We took an in-depth look at WorldServer and several other TMSs available in the market and learned how to set them up and use them as translators, project managers, administrators, and engineers. We learned about workflow creation, asset management, project creation and completion, and we completed the course understanding TMSs components well enough to make recommendations on workflows and systems.

For my final project I chose a consulting project for TAIA.io, a translation tech and services company located in Slovenia, in which I make some recommendations for improving its TMS setup.
