My name is Aayushi Chandra and I am a rising third year at Ohio State. My majors are International Security and Intelligence and Economics with a French minor. This Fellowship through the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies is a perfect platform for me to start a research thesis to narrow down my interests in the expansive field of international studies. Utilizing both of my areas of study, I plan to obtain a master’s degree in International Studies and study export control of Weapons of Mass Destruction and other biological and/or chemical weapons that are becoming easier to trade in a rapidly globalized world. Pursuing higher education will hopefully build a stronger foundation for me to travel and work abroad. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, listening to podcasts & music, hiking, and cooking!
