Misión Gaia is a non-profit based in Minca, Colombia dedicated to empowering local communities in the sustainable use of their environment, increasing educational levels to improve living standards, abd ensuring the availability and diversity of resources over time.
Their vision is one of united communities that protect diversity, develop low-impact environmental processes, promote awareness of conservation and encourage respect for nature.
One of their initiatives is the Solidarity Tourism Initiative that hopes to establish sustainable strategies and action plans for the future development of tourism in the region.
