Developing Global Competency in Today’s Youth

This session will explore language education as a key component in developing global competency in today’s youth. The panelists will present a brief overview of the literature on developing global competency in youth and share exemplar programs in the U.S. and abroad. Following the presentation, participants will engage in a guided discussion of the topic, sharing their ideas and experiences, and discussing initiatives that they could implement within their organizations and within the community.
