Experiential Learning Project Hub

Experiential learning is a cornerstone of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) pedagogical philosophy for helping students develop the skills and knowledge needed for building a better world.

We believe experiential learning occurs when students step outside of the traditional role of teacher and student. MIIS students apply critical thinking to complex global issues while collaborating with local and international clients across a range of diverse organizations.

Experiential Learning Programs at MIIS include internships, PSSJ-Term & spring practicasummer opportunities, global courses, and directed studies.

Thanks to Experiential Learning (EL) Funding for making many of these students’ projects possible!
