Hi Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds all of you enjoying this wonderful summer. As some of you know, I was fortunate enough to GRADUATE (really…I did…) from the Monterey Institute of International Studies with a graduate degree a few months ago, and am now working for a number of great organizations here in Monterey. One of them is an absolutely amazing organization called The WIP. It produces articles written by women from all over the world that wouldn’t normally have a voice otherwise. These articles are well written and are very impactful, benefiting so many women all over the world. However, recently, like many organizations, The WIP is struggling financially and could use some help raising money.

Here’s where I come in…

I am running the San Francisco Marathon on July 31st. I’m very excited and have been training hard. I have decided to raise money for The WIP through this marathon, and would love for each and every one of you to sponsor me in my effort. Its actually going to be a really fun opportunity. I am going to strap an IPOD and some SPEAKERS to my back, and broadcast The WIP’s stories AS I RUN! Runners and spectators will be able to hear these women’s voices, and I will be able to raise awareness about The WIP at the same time. It couldn’t be a better chance to do some much-needed good in this world, right?

I would love for you to SPONSOR me in my quest to raise $1000 for The WIP. Donate $10, $100, $500…it all goes to a wonderful organization that is doing wonderful things for this world. An organization that could use a little help…
