Saharan Crossroads Fellowships Call for Applications

The American Institute for Maghrib Studies (AIMS) and the West African Research Association (WARA) of Boston University announced yet another round of calls for applications for the annual Sahara Crossroads Fellowships. The fellowships will support research, conferences and other activities from multiple academic disciplines to explore the sociocultural and geographic diversity of the North and West African region.

It is a short-term fellowship for up to three months and additional  travel stipend can be awarded as well for scholars flying out of the United States. Research focus and fieldwork in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and West Africa are prioritized. Research must be completed by December 1st, 2013. For more information, click here.
