Prof. Sandra Dow will offer a webinar entitled “Lehmans and Lemons: A Study of Institutional Investment,” sponsored by the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, webcast on Wednesday, September 26, at 12 pm Eastern time.
“The study isolates the activity of four failed US investment banks – Lehmans, Bear Stearns, Merrill Lynch and Wachovia – and finds evidence that their investment strategies favoured overly risky companies and entrenched poor risk management.”
