To better describe the “one-drop theory”- check out this article, because it applies to all people. Think even, abstractly, how white people tend to homogenize themselves inappropriately. NOBODY is just one race anymore – even as much as they think they are. How does this play into self-identification? What does this aspect of self-identification mean for the individual – how does it effect their relationships? Competency? Cosmopolitanism?
