Overlapping Sectors

As you can see in the chart above, there are no overlapping sectors in the Iceland education system. When Iceland became a decentralized education system in 1995, more roles were given to the municipalities throughout the country, and schools relied less on the overall government. The chart clearly displays all of the offices, councils, and divisions within the education structure.
