Team Peru presents the first ever Pong n’ Pizza Invitational. This will be a tournament for the ages, bringing together the best beer pongers at the Monterey institute to do battle and find out who is the best of the best. All proceeds will go to the Team Peru projects this summer.

The game will be modified to some extent as there will be water in the cups to discourage binge drinking and the spread of disease, while encouraging the participation of non-drinkers. It will be a bracket-style two-game elimination tournament. Teams will consist of two players and are REQUIRED to have a team name and matching uniforms or a theme. Official rules will be provided at the event and rule interpretations and decisions will be made by the event officials.

Registration for each team will cost $25 ($12.50 per person) and MUST be paid in advance. There will be no money exchange once the event begins. Registration provides your team a spot in the tournament (and a chance to win cool prizes and a sweet trophy), unlimited beer and non-alcoholic drinks, and everyone’s favorite treat, PIZZA! Non-players can partake in the event and the goodies but have to pay a $10 fee (or you could just bring your own food and drink and avoid the charge).

Mission

Our mission is to provide and implement sustainable programs and projects in collaboration with the indigenous people of the Sacred Valley of Perú in an effort to improve their lives and reduce poverty in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner. Furthermore, we work to support local NGOs with whom we have shared values using the skills and tools we possess.
