Whale Watching

It was a beautiful day as we embarked on the ship in search of whales. We had intended to go the week before, but was cancelled because the seas were too rough. It was worth the wait, however, because the skies were as blue as the water. The breeze was light too, which provided a wonderful warmth when standing in the sun.

Although some of us got a bit sea sick, it didn’t ruin our fun!

We found whales! It was an exciting moment when we first caught a glimpse of the whales’ large backs and fins. We also were able to see schools of dolphins!
