First week of Spring Session!

We are excited to start our new Spring Session. Last Thursday and Friday we had our orientation, and the above picture features our welcome lunch on Thursday. We have 14 continuing students from Iraq, UAE, South Korea, Congo Brazzaville, Burkina Faso, and El Salvador! And we have also welcomed 11 new students from 11 new students from Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Morocco…. what an awesome mix of people!

Our Reading & Writing classes will be taught by Jennifer Hickey, James Atcheson, Mike Garnett, and Yulia Nikolskaya. Oral Communication will be taught by Laura Seithers (a new member to our team!), Mike Garnett, and Jennifer Hickey. We are also offering exciting electives: Active Listening Strategies taught by Oksana Cole, Communication Skills for English in Business Purposes taught by Marie Butcher (another new member!), Life Skills taught by Yulia, Photojournalism taught by Mike, Research Basics taught by Jennifer, and TOEFL Preparation taught by James.
