CNS 20th anniversary events @ MIIS
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS). To celebrate this special occasion, CNS will host an expert conference and a public event the first week of December devoted to “The Power and Promise of Nonproliferation Education and Training.” The December 3-4 conference will feature CNS alumni who have assumed senior government, international organization, NGO, and academic positions in the nonproliferation field, as well as other distinguished nonproliferation analysts and policy practitioners. On Saturday, December 5, CNS will host a staged reading of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes’ new play, Reykjavik, about the historic 1986 summit meeting between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev.
