Clinton Global Initiative University April 2011 Conference in California
President Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative University (CGI U) is a network aimed at student leaders and social entrepreneurs who wish to develop projects and engage in community service in areas such as education, energy & climate change, peace & human rights, poverty alleviation, and public health. CGI U is currently seeking enthusiastic university students (graduate and undergraduate levels) interested in attending the organization’s free annual conference at the University of California San Diego from April 1 to 3, 2011.
The conference will be hosted by President Clinton.  In order to apply, students must submit a ‘Commitment’ proposal which is a general plan in any of areas listed above, or related fields. You can apply as an individual or as a group. The top proposals are also given grants usually in the $3,000 to $10,000 range in order to help achieve proposal goals.  All students who wish to attend must submit an application.
