Collectively, this portfolio generates over $100 million in annual revenue and has created over 2,000 jobs for our community.

points of lightPoints of Light helps put people at the center of transforming their communities through four innovative and dynamic enterprises. HandsOn Network is the largest volunteer network in the nation, mobilizing people through 250 Volunteer Centers in 16 countries. generationOn is the youth service movement that ignites the power of kids to make their mark on the world. AmeriCorps Alums is the national service alumni network that activates the next generation of service leaders. Points of Light Corporate Institute enables companies to engage their employees and customers in service.

unreasonable instituteThe Ureasonable Institute gets world-changing ventures and entrepreneurs what they need to scale their impact. Each year, we unite 10-30 entrepreneurs (called “Unreasonable Fellows”) from every corner of the globe to live under the same roof for six weeks in Boulder, Colorado. These entrepreneurs receive customized training and support from 50 world-class mentors, ranging from a Time Magazine Hero of the Planet, to the head of user experience at Google X, to an entrepreneur who’s enabled over 20 million farmers to move out of poverty. In the process, they form relationships with corporations and international organizations, receive legal advice & design consulting, and get in front of hundreds of potential funders. Our goal is to bring all the resources to accelerate these ventures so they can scale to meet the needs of at least one million people each. Applications for the 2014 Institute will open in September of 2013.

Basic RGBVillage Capital provides opportunity to entrepreneurs across the globe building solutions for a better world. To date, we have operated peer-driven educational programs with over 250 ventures from more than 30 countries, with top enterprises, as selected by the participants themselves, receiving the chance for investment to enable their businesses to grow.
