A little end-of-year MIIS radio reflection for ya!

As this incredibly busy spring semester comes to a close, I look back on my first attempt at implementing a robust internet radio with cautious satisfaction. Where I am pleased with it’s greatest strengths, it also has some glaring weaknesses and some kinks to be worked out immediately. That being said, MIIS Radio will be undergoing an overhaul during the summer months, so this podcast is a reflection of my journey to the DLC and through the first few stages of reviving MIIS Radio – enjoy!

In this installment of MIIS Tales, I invited Yiray Wu to the booth. Yiray is a first-year Translation and Interpretation student originally from Taiwan. We got a chance to talk about her experiences studying English and German in the United States as well as Germany. She schooled me on the inner workings of the T&I program and what Translation and Interpretation students have to do to succeed. We also chatted about her personal goals and aspirations once she leaves MIIS. I had a great time hanging out with Yiray! Listen in on our conversation below:
