Nice to meet you! I’m Cheng Song, a cultural mediator and global localizer. Currently, I’m working at the World Intellectual Property Organization as a terminology fellow. Previously, I graduated from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey with a Master’s degree in Translation and Localization Management.

I’m passionate about language, culture, and on the way to be more immersed with technology. I have began translating since undergraduate school. My translation experience expands to industries including travel and hospitality, media, and I have coped with texts from poems to technical contents, from journals to marketing materials.

I love Impressionism paintings, street photography, different kinds of art works, and literature. Museum and galleries are my most favorated places. I also love sciences, as much as I love art. Without science, translation may still be an exhausting and repetitive work, with less attractive vision. It is also technology that makes the world more connected and accessible to valuable information.
