Spring 2018 Critical Issues Forum Students Conference in Monterey!

We are pleased to announce that the Spring 2018 Critical Issues Forum Students’ Conference will be held in the beautiful city of Monterey, California on March 30-31st, 2018. This year’s conference topic is: “Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons: Achievements, Aspirations and Challenges Ahead.” The conference will be conducted at The Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey, in the Irvine Auditorium located at the McCone Building. We hope you enjoy your time in Monterey and look forward to an enlightening conference for all involved. Susan Southard

Author of Nagasaki: Life After the Nuclear War, a book that tells the story of the 1945 atomic bombing of the city of Nagasaki by focusing on the lives of five hibakusha or atomic bomb survivors.
