About the CIF Conference
Students from United States and Russia joined Japanese students to discuss nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation. This conference not only educated our students but produced future leaders who will continue to increase the momentum toward a world without nuclear weapons. The conference was on April 2nd and 3rd at Hiroshima Jogakuin Senior High School, one of the participating schools in the CIF and a cosponsor of the Spring Conference. On April 4thCNS also co-sponsored a public forum with Hiroshima prefecture and city at the Hiroshima International Conference Center.

The CIF Spring Conference was made possible by the generous support by the United States Japan Foundation, “Hiroshima for Global Peace” Plan Joint Project Executive Committee (Hiroshima Prefecture & City), and Hiroshima Jogakuin.
