Cairo, Egypt

This course will be offered by American University in Cairo (AUC) to MIIS and AUC graduate students. It will be led by an AUC prfessor and include a hybrid of lectures and field work. Participants will learn about the social services sector and international development within the Egyptian context.  Participants will complete a client project for a Cairo-based nonprofit as part of this course.  Client projects will be sourced from sectors such as sustainability, women’s education and social entrepreneurship (through AUC’s New Venture Lab).

This opportunity falls under Tier 3 of the Immersive Professional Learning Funding Guidelines. Apply by November 1st or December 1st to be considered for an award of $1,000 to offset the costs of this practicum.
